Malaysia’s Jet Airess drops this killa free album just in time for Christmas. Frequenters of Generation Bass and Mal Dicen will already be well acquainted with Jet. A couple of years back she was dropping sort of handbag House type stuff, but somewhere along the road she saw the light and discovered Global Bass. Hallelujah! There’s a bunch of remixes in this package too, with a dope House flip from our good buddy Caballo (Latino Resiste, Mal Dicen). Bounce!

The German bruderschaft that is Symbiz return with their Thursday giveaway feature. This time in association with Soulforce Records. The boys have stuck to their ragga roots on this one, however it’s much more Global Bass than their usual Dubstepish Dancehall flavour, incorporating Twerk vibes and Moombahton beats. I’m looking forward to Thursdays!

DITH today brings you a great friend and collaborator of mine, MC Zulu, the Daddy of Global Bass. This outing sees Zulu rocking a tight Moombahton joint and showing us his Panamanian roots by spitting in Spanish as well as good old English. But, if you’re familiar to Melbourne Bounce, then this probably isn’t what you were expecting. Galtier’s Shudder EP is a dark and brooding collection of tracks which seem to be influenced more by UK Bass, Broken Beat and The Breaks, rather than the more “Handbag” style that you might usually expect to hear from a Melbournite. The four tracker is out now to buy, but Galtier has kindly bunged in a free downloadable track as well. Lovely…
